Red Bull Arena To Host Roma-Tottenham Clash

New York Red Bulls

Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey will be the site for the International Champions Cup match between AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspurs this summer. The two storied clubs will take the pitch on July 25th at 8pm, as part of the summer tournament.

Tickets will go on-sale on March 29 at 10 a.m., beginning with an exclusive pre-sale window for Red Bulls RED Members. Tickets go on-sale to the general public on April 4 at 10 a.m. and will be available online at ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Roma, who currently sit in second place of Serie A, boast legendary Italians Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi. Tottenham, who also sit in second place of the English Premiere League, will likely bring world-class striker Harry Kane, as well as young American defender Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The two clubs have some familiarity with each other as they’ve recently made transactions. Last summer, Roma acquired Federico Fazio from the English giants, and he’s turned into one of the best defenders in Italy. Back in 2011, Tottenham bought Erik Lamela from the Stadio Olimpico and he has turned into a fixture at White Hart Lane.

The match will be broadcast on ESPN.
